In my current work with University of Idaho’s communications and marketing department, my role in Printing Services has given me the opportunity to wear many hats and grow my design skillset.
I perform pre-press checks and design services on all of the marketing collateral that passes through our department, spanning numerous colleges and organizations. As a result, I’ve learned how to prepare print files and specs for both in-house and out-sourced printing, creating everything from trade-show banners to postcards to stickers to magazines.
I’m able to provide start-to-finish design, project management and printing services to my stakeholders, meaning they can rest easy knowing their project is being handled.

This suite of stationery is used across the University and its many colleges and organizations. Since taking over the production design and printing of the stationery suite, I have:
Migrated the file management system that houses all of Printing Services’ files to SharePoint and reorganized all working, proof, and print files that make up the branded stationery suite
Executed the production design and printing of over 1,000 stationery orders over the past 2 years
Created training materials and process documentation of the production design, project management and print production tasks that I developed
